Founder, Composer, & Master Teacher Dorothy Harwood has been teaching voice, choral groups, drama and piano lessons for over 30 years. Ms. Harwood holds degrees in Music Education (Magna Cum Laude), with a K-12 vocal & Instrumental certification plus a Masters in Choral Conducting (GPA 4.0). With years of teaching & choral conducting experience she brings a wealth of knowledge to her students.
My love of music came from my father who played piano every morning before he went to work and every evening when he came home. He did not read music but his musical creativity was phenomenal and his 1930’s and 40’s style Jazz was a delight to hear. He wore the ivory off the keys of two pianos. We would often sing together, I would sing melody and he would improvise. Sometimes we would both improvise. I am happy to say I have carried on with his passion for music.
